I don’t plan on becoming independently wealthy with my aStore. Making enough to support my blog renewal on WordPress would be fine with me. Being able to make enough to support a scholarship for an undergraduate student or graduate student, or being able to support travel to conferences or workshops would be even better. In a perfect world, I would be able to support innovative research, and technology associated with teaching and learning would be brilliant. Living in rural Kentucky, hours away from our state capitol, and hours away from major population centers, like Nashville, Memphis, St. Louis, and Louisville, we are absent from most people’s cognitive (mental) maps. Science funding suffers as an indirect result of our remoteness and the tyranny of distance. Thus, any earnings will find their way into post-secondary education.
So, I invite you to check out my Constant Geographer’s Amazon “aStore.” Most, if not all, of the books and technology I review can be found here.
